Theses Dining Chairs above were covered in a wool material. We had previously treated these chairs with a spot retardant chemical similar to Scotchgard. The chairs had some spots and spills that needed attention. Firstly the big issue was a black coffee stain. Black coffee can be quite a difficult stain to remove. The problem is the heat setting the stain in. Black coffee is often quite a bit hotter than coffee with milk. The milk tends to cool the coffee down. So if there is a spill, the lower temperature makes it somewhat easier to remove the stain. However the customer had attended to the stain promptly with our spot remover. This meant that when we came to perform the Dining Chair cleaning, the result was much better. Also there was some chocolate and an oil stain apparent. These stains were also removed successfully.
