Carpet Cleaning Tricks (part 3)
We will endevour to provide more carpet cleaning tricks and tips as they arise over time. Don’t forget that you want to stop the soiling outside if you can.
Vacuuming under beds
Dust will tend to accumulate at the base of the bedhead. Simply pulling the bed down and vacuuming every 3 to 6 months will suffice in removing your dust build-up. Normally, moving the bed once or twice a year and giving the carpet underneath a good vacuum will resolve any dust issues you may have. Also, It is a similar story with heavy furniture such as side-boards. Simply moving these items and vacuuming under every six months is a good idea to minimise dust build up.
Upholstery Vacuuming
Regular upholstery vacuuming is also important. Dust will settle on your couches and lounge suites. Especially on the backs. Also underneath cushions will need the occasional vacuum.
Carpet cleaning tricks and regular maintenance
Regular maintenance of carpet and upholstery is important. Vacuuming, spot removal and professional cleaning all go together to keep your carpet and upholstery looking good. The cleaning of carpet in a domestic situation every 12 months is recommended. Commercial areas may need cleaning more often. Upholstery if used regularly should be cleaned every 12 months as well. Or every 2 years if not used often.
